if you turn shadows off it reduces lag alot i run on a 1.6 prossecer with some old graphic card and i can play with no lag

Interesting, when i played SWTOR i ran on the 2010 version of the iMac lineup. Strange how a newer model is not getting good performance.
Maybe check the latest drivers through the Apple Software Update

I run swtor on a late 2011 iMac through boot camp and damn performance is terrible. Sometimes it runs smooth other times my fps drop. Instances are fine and pvp is alright but open world is terriible

Turning bloom off in preferences makes a big difference if your having issues ,the sliders dont seem to impact to much.Worked for me and I’am scraping through on a hd5450 ati until I get some cash for the HD5770

I don’t have a crazy machine, It’s about the recommended system, but I lag always. It’s usually playable, but sometimes, especially in pvp, it get’s nearly un-playable.

Thumbs up if you have a very good laptop, (better than a good amount of desktop PCs), but still can’t run the high graphics option and have to run low and sometimes the low graphics option still lags.

For some reason I only really badly lag in small areas like hallways, tombs, etc. Open world is perfect though.

And yes, when in combat or the fleet, I have lag issues with all my settings as low as possible and I’m running a Core i5 and ATI HD 5770 so its not amazing but its not bad. I paid $900 for it.

I’m pretty sure Bioware developed the PvE leveling to revolve around your class quests and pickup the side quests you come across as you go. However, your class quest may be telling you to go off the planet even though you still have side quests on there just because they put in enough side quests to be 100% sure nobody will have problems reaching their class quest level.

Sometimes I have issues with eyes being blacked out and small stuff like that. Caves, especially misty ones, are hardest on my computer. It just can’t keep up with the mist, lol. As far as levelling, I like it. It’s pretty quick early on, and then starts to taper at 30+, which I think is great.

I personally have been having rendering issues like how certain area don’t render correctly causing enemies not to appear till later. As far as leveling I haven’t had problem with being too low till now as leaving alderan I’m a little underleveled

It runs well for me when I’m not in the republic fleet or warszones, it lags up a load for that. It’s weird though my computer can run any other game without lag even wow so yeah must be the game

I get consistant FPS in everything except PVP but its not really bad in pvp either. still bareable. make sure your drivers are all up to date. Also yes doing all the side quest will cause you to out level your missions but sometimes its easy to get caught up in. Besides I dont mind fighting elites and finishing with 80-90% HP

It is the overheat sound but it’s not like it is in ME1. The sound plays when your gun overheats then you eject the heat sink.
Basically, nothing has changed since ME2 but they’ve made the feedback better.

3:51 shephard doesn’t even look at james while they fight.. it looks a little bit poorly animated. But i’m a still huge fan och mass effect and i ordered my limited edition copy like a week ago so Im still looking forward to it!
